Quadrasteps are a semi-custom option of orthotics that have different features from your typical over-the-counter inserts, such as a deeper heel cup.
These are an excellent, inexpensive option if your feet are generally symmetrical.
Quadrasteps are very durable and may be easily transferred from shoe to shoe. They will last 1-3 years, depending on wear and tear.
What Does Semi-Custom Mean?
Semi-custom means they are made for your foot type, not custom molded to your foot.
They are commonly used to treat conditions such as:
- Plantar Fasciitis (heel or arch pain)
- Metatarsalgia (pain in the ball of the foot)
- Neuromas & Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome (burning/tingling)
- Shin Splints
- Hip Bursitis
- Knee Pain
- Lower Back Pain
How Do I Know My Foot Type?
Our team will perform a biomechanical gait analysis during your visit to determine first if Quadrasteps are a good option for you. If they are, they will ‘foot type’ you through multiple tests to figure out which category your feet fall in.
There are 6 different main categories of foot type and over 24 different sub categories! These are definitely not a one-size-fits all orthotic, they are an an option in-between Powersteps and custom molded orthotics.
